Congratulations to Shirley Jordan Seay, PhD, on completing her doctoral studies.
 
Congratulations to Fatimah Goode and LaShanita M. Devese our 2010 Scholarship Recipients
   

           Fatimah Goode

This is Fatimah's first year of nursing at the Huron School of Nursing. She is currently working at South Point Hospital as a surgical liaison. Mrs. Goode is married and has three sons attending college. Her mother-in-law Jackie is an officer in Nu Chi Chapter of Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Inc. Fatimah plans to be the best nurse she can be and wants to educate the young and the elderly on health care issues.

          LaShanita M. Devese

LaShanita is a nursing student at  Case Western Reserve University. After she earns her Bachelors degree in Nursing, she plans to attend medical school to become a pediatrician. LaShanita plans to travel the world and help children in need. She is single and lives with her single mom. LaShanita  is the first generation college  student in her family.

 
Congratulations to Rachel Freeman MSN, RN, Director of the First LPN Program at Cleveland Job Corps who graduated the second class of  LPN graduates on 12/16/2009. Two graduates have taken their state board examination and passed.
 
Congratulations to Soror Diana Brown-Brumfield APRN-BC, MSN, CNS, CNOR who was awarded the Nursing Excellence award on 11/2/2008 by the Cleveland Chapter of Black Nurses.
